30 yrs and counting: Numero Uno CMD Narinder Singh Dhingra's golf love story

Here’s a boss who loves green — whether it’s growing his own plants or playing golf.

Narinder Singh Dhingra, CMD of Numero Uno Jeanswear, started playing the sport around 30 years ago and now tries to play whenever he gets the chance. And for him, golf is all about pushing limits.

“You don’t play against anyone, but the course. Being out with nature and a good game is always relaxing. Golf is a game that you need to improve day on day and you can play the course alone, so you are your own biggest opponent,” he says.


Dhingra’s favourite courses include the Delhi Golf Course, Naldehra Golf Course, and ITC Classic Golf & Country Club, but he does have a bucket list of where else he wants to play the game — the DLF Golf & Country Club and Jaypee Greens Golf Course.

Until then though, he’s happy teeing off.
