Narayana Murthy is very punctual: Mohandas Pai
Former Infosysian Mohandas Pai, who was the company's CFO, will vouch for this that Narayana Murthy was a stickler for time.

Pai was at the Rotary Club of Bombay's meeting in Mumbai on Tuesday to speak about Akshaya Patra, the Bangalore-based NGO that provides midday meals in schools, which he helped co-found. Asked about Murthy's famed punctuality, Pai told ETPanache how the Infosys shareholders meeting always started on time. "We had a device which rang a bell and we would start immediately. If you didn't come on time, you missed out, that's all. It's just a culture of starting on time. He (Murthy) respects your time," Pai revealed.
What's more, Murthy didn't waste time in deciding on things. "He's very decisive. I mean, you have to decide and get on to the next problem. You can't stay in the past," Pai said.
