Nandita Das in Bengaluru to pen her next film
While vacationing with her five-year-old son Vihaan, she is also writing the script for her next film on the life of Urdu short story writer, Saadat Hasan Manto.

"I want my son to be close to nature and to see the system of alternate schooling which Bengaluru has, and which most city kids miss out on. The relationship between students and teachers is beautiful here and this is something that every child should see. Also, Bengaluru is very calm and peaceful, and, hence, it is a good place to write my film. My co-writer, Ali Mir, who is also a Bollywood lyricist, has written songs like Ye Honsla (Dor), will be joining me here," says Nandita.
With pleasant weather and non-intrusive crowd, Bengaluru surely does figure as one of the more enticing destinations for writers across the country to embark on their scripting work.
