Nandita Das hosts special screening for Naveen Patnaik, 'Zwigato' made tax-free in Odisha
The Kapil Sharma-starrer was entirely shot in Bhubaneswar.

Taking to Twitter, the Odisha government had waived off the entertainment tax for 'Zwigato', which is based on the struggles and life of a food delivery executive and his family.
Directed by Nandita Das, the Hindi language film was entirely shot in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. With this tax-free move, the state government wants to promote Odisha as a prominent destination for shooting future movies.
"State government is promoting Odisha as a destination for film shooting via proactive policies. It will promote tourism potential and provide job opportunities for talented youth. CM appreciated efforts of Ms Das for promoting Odisha as a destination to shoot commercial movies," the tweet read.

"Glad to join a special screening of the movie, Zwigato directed by Nandita Das, which was shot entirely in Bhubaneswar. Appreciate the effort of the movie maker in promoting Odisha as a destination for shooting commercial movies. Wish the movie all the very best," he added in his post on Twitter alongside a string of images from the screening.

"I deeply appreciate his gesture of waiving off entertainment tax. Now many more can watch it. People of Bhubaneswar please go see your city, your actors and a story that needs to be told," she wrote.

Produced by Applause entertainment, the story follows the life of Manas (played by Sharma), who is forced to work as a food delivery agent after he loses his job during the pandemic.
