Nandan Nilekani finds solution to Deepak Parekh's problem

When you have friends in high places, you can count on your problems vanishing (or at least dare to hope they would). Much like HDFC chairman Deepak Parekh.

At a recent event, Nandan Nilekani, co-founder Infosys, spoke in jest of solving Parekh’s problem. He was speaking about digitisation and the benefits it can bring.

"One of the areas we looked at was the creation of a centralised voting system, so that when Deepak goes to vote, his name is still there on the voting list," he said, alluding to the time when Parekh found his name missing from the voters list during last year's general elections.
