Nana Patekar wanted to start a hotel
Nana Patekar, in a candid conversation with Amitabh Bachchan, revealed that if his acting career did not go as planned, he would have loved to open a small hotel, indicating his love for a simple and peaceful lifestyle.Nana Patekar continued that he was an outsider in Bollywood and was from a village in Maharashtra. He came to the sets and shot for films in Mumbai and then returned to his village.
Addressing the audience at KBC, Nana Patekar disclosed that after learning Amitabh Bachchan works for 12 hours a day, he invited the megastar to take a hiatus and live with him in his village for a week.
Nana Patekar’s village life routine
When a curious Amitabh Bachchan asked Nana Patekar what a day in his life looks like in the village, Patekar told him that he wakes up in the morning with the sounds of birds chirping, not requiring an alarm clock and performs exercises in a gym that he built in his village.Nana Patekar added that be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, he cooks all his food himself. Patekar added that he is grateful for receiving so much love and appreciation from fans, stating that life has bestwed him with blessings and probably that is the reason why he gave up on city luxuries.
