Bollywood veteran Nana Patekar passed away today, October 8. He was 75. According to reports, the National Award-winning star was found unconscious at his residence in Dona Paula, Goa, after suffering a cardiac arrest. Although he was rushed to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead. As per Dr Shekhar Salkar, Chief of Oncology Department, Manipal Hospital, the actor could not be revived even after 45 minutes of continuous CPR, as per news agency ANI. Additionally, a medico-legal case (MLC) has been registered, and a post-mortem will be conducted.

Nana Patekar has delivered several memorable performances over the years. He made his debut with the 1978 Muzaffar Ali-directed Daman and gave noteworthy performances in films like 'Parinda', 'Prahaar', 'Angaar', 'Krantiveer', 'Agni Sakshi', 'Yashwant', 'Ab Tak Chhappan', 'Apaharan', 'Welcome' and 'Natsamrat ’, to name a few.
