On Friday, the first photos from their Haldi ceremony appeared on social media, showing Chaitanya gazing lovingly at Sobhita as they shared precious moments with their families. The couple's wedding will take place at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, and insiders hint that the event will follow a traditional Telugu style.

For the occasion, Sobhita opted for a striking red saree with a full-sleeved blouse, steering away from the usual yellow attire. Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya looked as dashing as ever in a simple yet elegant kurta-pyjama ensemble.

Chay-Sobhita Wedding To Last 8 Hours?

“It’s going to be more than 8-hour-long wedding rituals according to the Telugu Brahmin traditions, which is what Sobhita and Chaitanya are following for their wedding," a source close to Sobhita revealed. “In order to honour the cultural aspects and give respect and attention to all the beautiful details of a Telugu wedding, they are going all out with an over 8-hour traditional hard-core old school wedding," they explained.

Chaitanya also shared his excitement about the upcoming wedding. "It’s been wonderful getting to know Sobhita and her family over the last few months. Watching our families bond has been a true pleasure. I’m really looking forward to the wedding day, experiencing the ceremonies, and seeing both our families unite," he said.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala began dating in 2022. The couple got engaged on August 8, 2024, in Hyderabad, surrounded by their loved ones. They will tie the knot in an intimate ceremony on December 4.
