On their first anniversary, Sobhita shared a nostalgic montage on social media, giving fans a rare peek into the rituals, candid interactions and heartfelt exchange of vows. The video featured all the treasured moments that made their ceremony special, from blessings by elders to quiet moments between the bride and groom.Sobhita paired the visuals with a poetic caption, sharing how the past year had transformed her. She wrote that being “back in the Deccan” and spending a year as “Mrs” made her feel renewed and “purified by fire.”
The video also captures brief but touching appearances by Nagarjuna, Chaitanya’s father, who is seen warmly greeting guests and performing rituals. The couple is also seen recording adorable messages for one another. In one such moment, Naga Chaitanya expresses his gratitude for having Sobhita by his side, saying that he feels he “can conquer anything with her next to me".
In the video, Sobhita talks about her husband and says, “I don’t know if I believe that a person is incomplete and somebody else comes in and fills that void. I think we are complete on our own. And yet, in his absence, I would not be full.”
Amid the celebrations, another warm moment came from actor Amala Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya’s stepmother. Speaking in an interview, she praised both her daughters-in-law, Sobhita and Zainab Ravdjee, calling them lovely, independent and affectionate women. Amala shared that she enjoys spending time with Sobhita and admires her grace and individuality.
