Veteran actor Archana Puran Singh found herself at the centre of comedian Samay Raina’s humour during the latest episode of India’s Got Latent 2. Known for his unfiltered jokes, Samay did not hold back as he turned his attention towards Archana, her family, her vlogs and even her famous laugh. Archana, however, was quick with her replies and played along with the jokes, making their exchange one of the most entertaining moments of the episode.

The episode featured Archana alongside Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, comedian Nishant Suri and Sharon Verma on the guest panel. As expected from Samay’s comedy show, the conversation soon moved into roast territory, with Archana becoming one of his main targets.

Samay Raina jokes about Archana Puran Singh’s age

Samay began by talking about the first time he remembered seeing Archana on screen as Miss Braganza. He told her that he had been a fan since then and joked that she seemed not to have aged at all over the years.

Archana thanked him for the compliment, but Samay quickly turned it into another joke, telling her that she had actually aged by decades. Instead of being offended, Archana immediately played along and came back with a sharp response.

She told Samay that if she had supposedly aged so much and still looked the way she did, he should take a lesson from her. The comedian then took the joke a step further by asking Archana to share the number of her plastic surgeon. The exchange left Archana and the others laughing.

The jokes were part of the light-hearted banter throughout the episode, with Archana matching Samay’s sense of humour rather than letting the teasing derail the conversation.

Archana’s family and famous laugh become targets

Samay then shifted his attention to Archana’s life away from television. The actor has been regularly sharing family vlogs on YouTube since 2024 and has around 1.31 million subscribers on the platform.

Referring to her vlogs, Samay, "I have seen in your vlogs that neither your husband works, nor your two useless sons. They are sitting here in the first row,"

Archana responded by telling her sons that she had already warned them not to sit in the front row. According to her, being there would not necessarily bring them fame and could instead make them the target of jokes and embarrassment.

Samay then asked Archana if she knew how one gets fame and immediately mimicked her signature laugh. The moment became another opportunity for him to tease the veteran actor about her long association with comedy shows.

The conversation then moved towards her work on The Kapil Sharma Show, where Archana is known for her distinctive laughter. When Samay suggested that laughing was essentially her job, Archana insisted that it was not as easy as it appeared.

She ended up saying that laughing at Kapil Sharma’s jokes was difficult. Almost immediately, she realised that she had fallen into Samay’s trap and admitted that she had walked right into his joke. Samay followed it up with another quip about her not wanting to lose the job she had.

With Samay Raina continuing to use his sharp and often unpredictable style of comedy, India’s Got Latent 2 has once again delivered an episode packed with candid conversations and playful roasting. Archana’s willingness to respond to the jokes made her segment particularly entertaining, especially as she found herself answering one joke after another without losing her sense of humour.

The episode crossed 15 million views within seven hours of its release. Orry, meanwhile, jokingly took credit for its success, saying his “touch” had something to do with it. New episodes of India’s Got Latent 2 are released every two weeks on YouTube and Netflix.
