He explained that the film was never just another successful project for him but an emotional journey shaped by trust, friendship, and creative comfort. According to Irani, the team shared a family-like bond, and those memories have stayed with him over the years.
Speaking about reuniting with Dutt after a long gap, Irani noted that their relationship has only grown stronger with time. He shared that returning to the same creative space felt both familiar and refreshing. He also highlighted Dutt’s presence on set, saying that his energy helps create a relaxed and encouraging working environment that allows everyone to perform at their best.

Addressing speculation around Munna Bhai 3, Boman Irani stopped short of making any official announcement but hinted that the project is still alive in spirit. He expressed his belief that the sequel will materialise once the timing and the story align properly. Irani added that he has personally held on to the hope of the film taking shape someday and remains optimistic about its future.
