Mumbai Police uses an ‘Extraction’ reference, asks for ‘proman’ from those venturing out in signature filmy style

Mumbai Police also made it clear in the tweet that there will be no room for negotiation for those who violate the rule.

Mumbai Police is known for spreading awareness in a ‘filmy’ style. The Twitter handle is often the talk of the town for its sometimes-thought provoking, mostly witty tweets that use movie references to make a point. The Twitter handle recently used a reference to the Netflix film ‘Extraction’ which stars Chris Hemsworth and actor Randeep Hooda.

Mumbai Police used Hemsworth's Bengali dialogue ‘Proman Dao (Give Proof)’ from the film and asked people to make sure that they have a "proman" or proof of urgency while stepping out during the lockdown.

They shared a still from the movie that had Hemsworth standing and the text on the picture read 'Before you venture out of home during lockdown: "Proman Dao."'
