Mumbai Police's 'Mirzapur' meme is a reminder for people to keep their masks on

Mumbai Police turned to Amazon Prime Video's 'Mirzapur' to remind citizens that while the restrictions may be easing, the rules when it comes to wearing masks, remain the same.

Sharing a poster of Pankaj Tripathi's character Kaleen Bhaiya sitting with a mask, with the text 'Niyam same hoga' (the rules will remain the same), on their social media handle, the Mumbai cops wrote, "Them: Now that the lockdown is getting eased, shall we take it easy on the COVID-19 precautions? Us:"

'Mirzapur 2', directed by Mihir Desai and Gurmmeet Singh, will drop on Amazon Prime Video on October 23. In addition to Tripathi, the show originally also featured Rasika Dugal, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi and Kulbhushan Kharbanda, with Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar and Amit Sialare joining them for the second season.
