NEW DELHI: Rajan Anandan likes to keep his personal life private and away from the limelight. However, the Sequoia Capital Managing Director doesn't shy away from sharing a glimpse of his family life on Twitter.
Recently, at the launch of Google India and Bain & Company's 'Powering The Economy With Her' report, the VC boss revealed how his wife Radhika Chopra, who is the founder of the luxury Indian tea brand No. 3 Clive Road, inspires their 14-year-old daughter, Maya.

Talking about the importance of women role models in India, the 52-year-old former Google India head said that being around entrepreneurs has had a positive impact on his daughter.
"We are a family of entrepreneurs. My daughter is studying hard because she aspires to be an entrepreneur just like her mother and her mom's friends," he emphasised.

"Role models are crucial in India as they bring in a lot of energy," Anandan added.

Last year in February, Anandan even took his daughter to a laboratory of the luxury skincare brand Forest Essentials, where his teenage daughter learnt how to make her own beauty products.

His mother was a former ballet dancer and air hostess, and father was a barrister. But, that did not deter him from trying again and he's never looked back ever since the launch of the magazine, 'Student'. Branson went on to build the Virgin empire. The Virgin boss is not a big fan of the smartphone. He feels most millennials waste way too much time on the device, taking away from their precious time. He also believes in maintaining a work-life balance. While most of us fall in the rut of the vicious email cycle of 'see, reply & repeat', Branson asserts that one needs to use technology judiciously and not be addicted to it.
