Mukul Deora, Nitasha Thapar expecting their first child

It’s time for celebrations in the Deora family. Former Congress MP Milind Deora’s younger brother Mukul, who tied the knot with Delhi-based Nitasha Thapar in February 2015, is soon to be a father and the family is ecstatic. Nitasha’s sister, Ayesha, married to SoftBank president Nikesh Arora, welcomed a baby boy, Kiaan, in June last year. When contacted, Mukul’s mother Hema confirmed the news, saying that Nitasha is three months pregnant and has "just returned from Delhi, where her parents stay".

And did she give the parents-to-be any advice? "I think today’s generation is very aware and wise. I only tell Nitasha to take it easy, relax and enjoy her pregnancy. I’m looking forward to holding my little grandchild in my hands. It’s naturally a very joyous feeling," says Hema, on turning a grandmother for the first time.
