Mukesh Ambani visits new mom Deepika Padukone, blesses her baby daughter

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now proud parents. The power couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on September 8. The baby received her first high-profile visitor. Mukesh Ambani, the Managing Director of Reliance Industries, dropped a visit to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai, where Deepika is currently admitted. As per reports, the tycoon congratulated the couple and blessed the baby. Padukone and Singh were among the guests at Mukesh’s younger son Anant’s wedding earlier this year.

The couple shared the happy news with fans and well-wishers through a joint statement. Taking to Instagram, they shared a post that read, “Welcome baby girl.” Many Bollywood stars expressed their affection for the couple and their baby girl. Alia Bhatt shared her excitement by posting a string of heart emojis in the comments. Priyanka Chopra also sent her best wishes. Katrina Kaif joined in, sending her love to the couple as well.

Singh’s ‘Simmba’ co-star Sara Ali Khan wrote, “Ranveer and DeePee congratulations on your baby girl!!! Only joy and bliss to both of you .” Kareena Kapoor wrote, “Congratulations mommy and daddy and mom Saifu and Beboo…God bless the little angel


Yesterday, Ranveer Singh's sister, Ritika Bhavnani, was spotted visiting the couple at the hospital. Deepika and Ranveer have yet to reveal the name of their newborn daughter and are expected to remain at the hospital for a bit longer. Ranveer has taken a brief paternity leave from his professional commitments.

Both Ranveer and Deepika will next appear in Singham Again, slated for release this Diwali. Deepika’s most recent appearance was in ‘Kalki 2898’ AD, which performed exceptionally well. After Singham Again, Ranveer is set to start work on Don 3. He is also part of Aditya Dhar's upcoming project, where he will star alongside Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and others.
