MS Dhoni's special appearance in Thalapathy Vijay's 'GOAT' sends fans into frenzy

MS Dhoni’s brief appearance in GOAT, starring Thalapathy Vijay, has sparked excitement among fans. Released on September 5, 2024, GOAT quickly garnered attention, with Dhoni’s cameo being a standout moment. The former cricketer, beloved in Tamil Nadu for his association with Chennai Super Kings, is widely celebrated in the state, even being referred to as the "adopted son" by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.

In the film, Dhoni appears in an IPL match scene that also includes Vijay, much to the delight of their fans. Although Dhoni’s screen time is limited, his presence has been a major highlight, with the audience cheering for both stars, who are affectionately known as ‘Thala’.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT (The Greatest of All Time) marks a significant release for Vijay, especially as he transitions into politics, having recently launched his party, Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam. The film showcases Vijay in dual roles and includes a star-studded cast featuring Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Sneha, with music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
