Mrunal Thakur confesses about her ex-boyfriend who just 'ran away' from her and why

Heartbreak spares no one; not even film stars are immune to suffering relationship blues. In a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, aka Beer Biceps, ‘Sita Ramam’ star Mrunal Thakur opened up about experiencing heartbreaks. Speaking to Allahabadia, she said that she had her last breakup seven months ago. Mrunal seemed to take heartbreaks in her stride.

“In order to be with the right one, you have to be with the wrong one,” she told Allahabadia. “You have to know what works for you and what doesn’t,” she said. She also added that she wouldn’t want to discover that she was incompatible with a person she was committed to. She also said that one of her last partners ended the relationship as he could not handle dating an actress. She said he was from a very Orthodox background. “In a way, I am glad that chapter has ended,” she mused, as it may be difficult when they raise kids together.

When quizzed about her take on relationships, the ‘Hi Nana’ actress said that she is not particularly worried about the future of her lovelife.


The actress also said that she is not particularly worried about superficial criteria such as looks or the career of a future boyfriend. She added that none of her boyfriends were considered conventionally attractive. “I don’t notice looks. None of my boyfriends were great lookers. They were good humans,” she said.

The actress clarified that none of her heartbreaks have been messy or dramatic. Her relationships had ended on a friendly note, with no hard feelings. All her romances ended due to a mutual decision to part ways, she revealed.

On the work front, Mrunal has a rather interesting lineup. She will be seen in three movies - ‘Pooja Meri Jaan,’ ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ and ‘Son Of Sardar 2’.
