'Mr & Mrs Mahi' to arrive on OTT soon: Here's where you can watch Janhvi Kapoor-Rajkumar Rao's romantic drama

The romantic sports drama Mr and Mrs Mahi, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, will begin streaming on Netflix starting July 26. The film, which premiered in theaters on May 31, is directed by Sharan Sharma and follows the inspiring story of an aspiring cricketer and her supportive husband. While the theatrical release received mixed reviews, its debut on streaming platforms is anticipated to attract a broader audience.

About 'Mr & Mrs Mahi'

‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ is a Hindi-language romantic sports drama film released in 2024, directed by Sharan Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, the film was announced in November 2021 and filmed from May 2022 to May 2023. It debuted on May 31, 2024, and received mixed reviews from critics.

The story revolves around the love story of Mahendra, a failed cricketer, and Mahima, a doctor. Sharing the same nickname, Mahi, they come together as Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, echoing the nickname of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. They quickly realize their mutual love and passion for cricket. Eventually, Mahendra sees his wife hitting tennis balls for sixes and decides to train her for a career in cricket.

The movie was a box-office bomb. Made on a budget of Rs 40 crore, it earned a modest Rs 51 crore. 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' marks the second collaboration between Kapoor and Rao, after the 2021 horror comedy 'Roohi'.
