If you were left wondering who Jason Statham (in a cameo) was in the last outing, as he simply said, "You don't know me. You're about to"; your question is answered well here.

What new do you expect from the seventh installment of a franchise that made you wish your theatre seat had a belt too? For starters — a new director.

After a string of horror movies (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring), James Wan finds himself doing what he does best — telling stories that are hard to explain. Those were haunted houses; try and explain gravity-defying cars in Fast & Furious 7.

Fans of the series are not expecting a Citizen Kane. What one expects though, Fast & Furious 7 delivers. If you were left wondering who Jason Statham (in a cameo) was in the last outing, as he simply said, "You don't know me. You're about to"; your question is answered well here.

Statham is Deckard Shaw who seeks revenge. Dom(Diesel) , Brian (Walker) and gang weren't particularly kind to Shaw's little brother Owen in the last movie. Add a subplot and you meet Frank Petty (Kurt Russell), a CIA agent who sends the gang around the world to rescue a hacker and a device that pretty much will spell disaster (wow, that's new) if it falls in the wrogn hands.

The film is yet another ride that is complete with mindless acrobatics of cars, guns, bombs, babes, and saying no to anything Newton said, but you won't complain. Diesel isn't a leading example when one talks performances, and this movie hasn't changed things much. Statham tries and does well. And then there's Ali Fazal who makes his Hollywood debut in a blink-and-miss appearance.

Bollywood represent! Fast & Furious 7, one must not forget, is also a tribute — and quite a fitting one — to the late Walker. The crew has done well re-scripting the movie, bringing in Walker's brothers as doubles and CGI.

However, if it pains you to see gorgeous cars being totalled, this movie will continue to break your heart. Don't even get started on what is done to the Lykan Hypersport in Abu Dhabi.
