Mouni Roy ties the knot with businessman Suraj Nambiar in a Kerala-style wedding in Goa

Roy and Nambiar's lavish ceremony
Bollywood actress Mouni Roy's wedding celebration was all about music, dance, love and luxury.
On Republic Day, the actress tied the knot with a Dubai-based businessman Suraj Nambiar in a lavish wedding in Panaji, Goa.
Without revealing much, Roy shared a picture with her beau, and captioned it, "Everything." She was seen wearing a red ensemble and Nambiar opted for a white outfit.
Soon after, TV actor Arjun Bijlani shared an adorable picture of the couple from their Kerala-style wedding ceremony. His caption read, "Mr and Mrs Nambiar."
The bride dazzled in a white-red Kanjivaram silk saree with gold zari. She completed her look with heavy gold jewellery. The groom, opted for a gold kurta and white mundu (type of lungi), looked mesmerised by his beautiful wife-to-be.
The theme of the wedding was floral, fragrance and luxury.
Fans caught a glimpse of the married couple, thanks to Roy's friends - who flooded Instagram with pictures from the grand celebration. Bijlani along with his blogger-wife Neha Swami, Bedi, Rene´e Cosmetics Founder Aashka Goradia, Raindrop Media founder and Director Rohini Iyer, and Roy's choreographer-best friend Rahul Shetty attended the wedding.
The pre-wedding celebrations started with a haldi and mehendi ceremony.

For the Haldi ceremony, the bride wore a while kurta and gold sharara with white floral jewellery, and the groom was twinning with her in a crisp white kurta pyjama. Two huge clay pots were set up in which the couples sat for their haldi ritual. The festivities concluded with a phoolo ki haldi (the ritual that included a shower of marigold petals).
The mehendi ceremony saw Roy dressed in a yellow lehenga with white tassels all over. Nambiar kept it simple in a white kurta-pyjama, and paired it with a printed white Nehru jacket. The couple also danced during the celebration. The duo dances at their Mehendi ceremony. The couple have always been tight-lipped about their relationship before they married.
