More Diljit Dosanjh concerts coming up in Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai; Check dates, ticket prices

Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Dil-Luminati’ tour has become a rage across the country. Buoyed by an enthusiastic response from fans, the Punjabi singing sensation has added some more concerts to his roster. He is set to perform an additional show in Delhi, with plans to bring the tour to both Jaipur and Mumbai as well. However, no further details about these performances have been revealed yet.

The announcement has thrilled fans, many of whom are eager to secure tickets this time around. One user commented, "Finally, I'll have to do something for the Jaipur date," while another expressed their excitement with, "Excited for Jaipur." A different fan shared, "Delhiiii day 2 (heart emoji)."

All About The 'Dil-Luminati Tour' India

Diljit expressed that he is "overwhelmed" by the response to his upcoming Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024, which has become the highest-grossing concert tour in India, selling 250,000 tickets. The India leg will kick off in Delhi on October 26, followed by Hyderabad on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 17, Lucknow on November 22, Pune on November 24, Kolkata on November 30, Bengaluru on December 6, Indore on December 8, and Chandigarh on December 14. He will conclude the musical journey in Guwahati on December 29.

Diljit is currently on the Dil-Luminati Tour across the US, Canada, and Europe, having already performed in various locations in the US and Canada. He was even personally welcomed by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at his concert in Toronto. His Dil-Luminati tour has solidified his status as an international star.

The alarmingly high prices of the tickets have drawn the ire of fans. The lowest-priced ticket for the Dil-Luminati India Tour was set at Rs 1,499 for the Silver Area. Tickets for the Golden Area were available in various phases, priced at Rs 3,999, Rs 4,999, and Rs 5,999. Fan pit tickets, which offered Early Bird Discounts for early purchasers, were priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 12,999. In Delhi, only two ticket categories were available: Gold (Phase 3) at Rs 12,999 and Fan Pit at Rs 19,999.

In response to the ticket prices, social media influencer Saumya Sahni expressed her thoughts in an Instagram post, stating, “I might regret saying this later, but I feel that no Indian artist should charge Rs 20,000-25,000 for a concert when they are performing in only six cities. They could perform three sets. The core audience often faces financial difficulties, unemployment, and limited entertainment options. Very few artists can perform in their own language in this country. Consequently, a middle-class person has little access to these artists.”
