Mommy to-be Kajal Aggarwal all set to welcome her little one, shares glimpse from baby shower

Bollywood actress Kajal Aggarwal, who has earned a name in the Telugu and Tamil film industry, is all set to welcome her little one this year.

The South star took to social media to share a glimpse of the intimate traditional baby shower ceremony (godh bharai) amidst family and friends.

The 'Singham' star looked elegant in a Banarasi red and gold saree with a matching sleeveless blouse, dupatta and ethnic jewellery. Her entrepreneur-husband Gautam Kitchlu colour-coordinated with the mom-to-be with a matching Nehru waistcoat and a crisp white kurta-churidar.


While the actress posted just one picture with Kitchlu from the 'godh bharai' ceremony, Hyderabad Times shared more pictures of Aggarwal with her family.

The mom-to-be's sister Nisha Agarwal also shared a picture with the happy couple who are expecting their first child .


Earlier this month, the 36-year-old called out trolls for body-shaming women during pregnancy.

Aggarwal said that she had been dealing with new developments in her life, body, home and most importantly workplace. She further added that people have been making hurtful comments and jokes. "Let's learn to be kind and if that's too hard, maybe, just live and let live," she said.

Kajal further said that during pregnancy, the body of a woman goes through multiple changes. Her post comes days after she was body-shamed by a section of
social media users.

The couple announced the pregnancy news on New Year 2022. Kichlu's caption read, "Here's looking at you 2022," followed by a pregnant woman emoji.

The duo tied the knot in October 2020.
