Mohenjo Daro: Complaint against Ashutosh Gowariker, Hrithik Roshan & producer
Akashaditya Lama is moving court against Ashutosh Gowariker's 'Mohenjo Daro,' claiming rights over the film's story idea.

"I have been called to the Oshiwara police station today to register my statement. I have submitted all the evidence. The police will now start investigating the matter by speaking to the other parties involved and, if convinced, will file an FIR against them. It may be followed by a criminal charge and an arrest," says Lama, who has for now filed a civil case against the makers. "As a citizen I have the right to file both civil and criminal cases. The civil court has its own course, but I know that a crime has been committed and it's my duty to get the culprits punished."
The 38-year-old writer believes that the move could help other writers in the future and informs that the makers of 'Mohenjo Daro' haven't approached him for an out-of-court settlement, and his demand for a stay on the film's production remains. "I want it from them in writing that they will stop filming until there is a court verdict on the matter," he asserts.
Meanwhile, work on the film came to an abrupt halt when Hrithik suffered a leg injury and a ligament tear while filming a combat sequence in Film City during the last schedule in mid-January. He was advised a month's rest. The 42-year-old actor is currently undergoing physiotherapy and is expected to be back on the sets in the first week of March.
