'Modi'fication of quintessential American symbols

During Modi’s visit, he super-subbed Roosevelt in the line-up, in a manner of speaking.

Where there is Modi, there is tea. So when he sailed into America, so did a glass of cutting chai, settling into Lady Liberty’s hands.
These scenes showing Carrie Bradshaw enjoying cupcakes with her friends gave the confection a new lease of life. Had NaMo been in the frame, he’d have had to be content with just being a spectator. He is vegetarian and was on a fast during his US trip.
