NEW DELHI: Taking Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore's #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign forward, Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Wednesday gave a fitness challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, star cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and his wife and actress Anushka Sharma.

Kohli took to Twitter to post a video of him doing the Butt Plank, and inviting the others to join the challenge.

"I have accepted the #FitnessChallenge by Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore sir. Now I would like to challenge my wife @AnushkaSharma , our PM @narendramodi ji and @msdhoni bhai for the same. #HumFitTohIndiaFit #ComeOutAndPlay," Virat tweeted.

Modi, on Thursday, accepted the cricketer's challenge. While he did not challenge anyone further, he did agree to post his own fitness video on Twitter soon.

Anushka Sharma also responded to her husband's tweet with a video. She then invited squash player Dipika Pallikal and her 'Sui Dhaaga' co-star Varun Dhawan to join in.
