Mixed martial arts fighter puts down a million for a shot at 50 Cent

Mixed martial arts fighter Colby Covington, who was pilloried by the rapper 50 Cent after losing his bout against Kamaru Usman last year, is putting his money where his mouth is. Literally. He has offered to put up $1 million to take on 50 Cent in a celebrity fight up. And that’s not all. He will fight the rapper with one hand tied behind his back.

“I am ready to do a celebrity boxing match. I will tie one hand behind my back, and I will fight 50 Cent and put up a million of my dollars to fight him in a celebrity boxing match. And I am going to give all the money to the troops because I love the troops so much,” Covington told a media organisation.

Covington, a supporter of US President Donald Trump, had riled up Usman with his pre-match trash talk, mocking his Nigerian lineage, resulting in 50 Cent siding with the latter after the match.
