Vishnu Manchu posts missile video from Dubai
Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu on Saturday shared a tense moment from Dubai after missiles were seen in the night sky. The actor, who was in the UAE to visit his family, posted a video online showing streaks of light overhead and the sound of loud interceptions in the background. He said the sudden noise shook their home and left his little daughter Ayra scared.

The situation unfolded amid rising tensions in the Middle East, with reports of missile and drone activity across parts of the Gulf. Civilians in cities like Dubai reported hearing loud sounds as defence systems intercepted incoming threats.

Vishnu took to X and posted a clip recorded from outside his residence. In the short video, flashes can be seen across the dark sky. Interception sounds are clearly audible, and the atmosphere appears tense.

Along with the video, he wrote, “In Dubai visiting family tonight. Missiles visible in the sky. The loud interceptions shook our home and frightened little Ayra. Praying for peace. No child anywhere should grow up hearing the sound of war above their roof. Grateful to the UAE defense forces for keeping civilians safe. Moments like this remind us how fragile life really is. Praying for strength and Peace. Har Har Mahadev.”

The actor’s message quickly drew attention, with many expressing concern about civilians caught in the conflict zone. His words focused less on politics and more on the emotional impact such incidents have on children and families.

Escalating tensions across the Gulf

The developments come after the United States and Israel reportedly carried out coordinated strikes on Iran. Following this, Iran announced retaliatory missile and drone attacks targeting US-linked facilities and allied regions in the Gulf, including areas in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE. Explosions were reported in multiple cities, and security alerts were raised across the region.

According to reports cited by Al Jazeera, four people were injured after an Iranian drone struck Dubai International Airport, causing damage inside a passenger terminal. Emergency teams were dispatched immediately in coordination with local authorities.

The unrest has also disrupted travel plans. Actress Sonal Chauhan said she was stranded in Dubai after flight cancellations and sought help from Prime Minister Narendra Modi through social media. Meanwhile, Indian shuttler PV Sindhu and members of the Indian basketball team in Doha were also reported to be facing travel delays due to operational disruptions.
