Missed being in India on Diwali: Mark Zuckerberg

NEW DELHI: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg wished everyone ‘Happy Diwali’ via a post on the social networking website.

Zuckerberg added that he missed being in India for Diwali this year.

Following is the Facebook co-founder’s post on the festival of lights:



The post has been 'liked' by over 5.72 lakh Facebook users and shared more than 14,000 times.

Zuckerberg was on a visit to India in late October, during which he went to see the Taj Mahal and hosted a townhall at IIT-Delhi. Prior to this, he had come to India on Apple co-founder Steve Jobs’ advice to visit a temple.

In late September, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Zuckerberg during his visit to Silicon Valley for a townhall.
