Mismatched diamonds: One jewellery trend you must add to your closet
Vintage cuts and classic hoops are getting a fresh twist this season.

Mismatched diamonds – combining a variety of differently cut diamonds in one piece of jewellery – allows the wearer to make a statement with subtlety. It also gives them the opportunity to get creative with their own pieces and add to their collections.
“From a designer’s perspective, it’s fun to mix different diamond cuts in one piece — it’s an illusionist’s game,” says jewellery insider and trained gemologist Katerina Perez. “It adds volume, helps play with proportions, creates different shapes and dimensions. Mismatched diamonds also show character and individuality.”
