Mirzapur 3 release date out now: Crime thriller series to hit Prime Video this July; check plot, cast, episodes

Prime Video has finally announced the release date for the much-anticipated third season of 'Mirzapur.' The highly acclaimed series will make its return on July 5, as shared by the OTT platform on Instagram along with a brand new poster. The show's Season 3 is expected to raise the stakes even higher and expand the canvas of the story. However, the core rules remain unchanged as all eyes turn towards the coveted throne in the fictional world of Mirzapur. This season continues the series' tradition of exploring themes of power, revenge, ambition, politics, betrayal, deceit, and complex family dynamics.

Mirzapur 3 Star-Studded Ensemble Cast

Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, 'Mirzapur 3' is produced by Excel Media and Entertainment, founded by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

The series features a stellar ensemble cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Anjumm Shharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Meghna Malik, and Manu Rishi Chadha.


The show, originally created by Karan Anshuman and Puneet Krishna, has been written by Apurva Dhar Badgaiyann, Avinash Singh Tomar, Avinash Singh, and Vijay Narayan Verma.

The new season will explore the aftermath of Season 2's explosive finale, where Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) killed Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu Sharma).
