Where to watch Minions & Monsters after theatres
At the moment, Minions & Monsters is playing exclusively in theatres. The film was released on July 1 and is available in multiple formats, including IMAX and 3D in several markets.The makers have not announced an official OTT release date yet. However, based on Universal Pictures' recent release pattern, the movie is expected to follow a similar rollout as the studio's previous animated releases.
The film is likely to become available first through Premium Video on Demand (PVOD) after completing its theatrical window. Universal now requires its films to remain in cinemas for at least five weekends before moving to digital platforms.
If the studio sticks to that schedule, Minions & Monsters could reach PVOD around August 4. If Universal decides to extend the theatrical run because of strong box office performance, the digital release could move to around August 18.
When could it arrive online?
After its digital release, the movie is expected to stream on Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming platform. Universal has generally brought its theatrical releases to Peacock around 118 days after their cinema debut.Following that pattern, Minions & Monsters is expected to begin streaming on Peacock around October 30, although the company has not officially confirmed the date.

Directed by Pierre Coffin and Patrick Delage, the animated film is the seventh movie in the Despicable Me franchise and the third Minions prequel.The story follows James, Henry and Ed, a new group of Minions living in Hollywood in 1927. After becoming unexpected stars during the silent film era, they lose their jobs when talking pictures replace silent movies because nobody can understand Minionese.
Hoping to revive their careers, James decides to make a monster movie using an ancient spellbook. Things quickly get out of hand when the spellbook summons real monsters, forcing the Minions to stop the chaos before the creatures take over.
The voice cast includes Pierre Coffin, Allison Janney, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Trey Parker, Bobby Moynihan, Phil LaMarr, Zoey Deutch and Christoph Waltz. The film also features a cameo appearance by George Lucas.
