"You Have to Be a Little Crazy"

Atlanta-based millionaire x, who built his fortune through a software company and hit seven figures by the age of 37, believes blind faith in your work is non-negotiable.


"You have almost got to be a little crazy, man, you have got to have crazy faith," Coopwood explains. "The only thing that works is the work, and most people aren’t willing to be faithful enough to put in as much work as it takes to be successful. So they quit before the work actually ends up working for them."

His sentiment is echoed by a 56-year-old commercial real estate developer who has been in the game for over two decades and once made $200 million in a single year.

"A lot of financial success in business has to do with timing," he admits. "And yeah, a lot of people get lucky. But ultimately, it’s about mindset. So many naysayers will tell you why you can’t do it. There’s going to be a sale made—either you’re going to buy what they’re selling, or you’re going to sell them on a bag of goods. Go out there and do your s**."*
