Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma pays tribute to George Michael

It’s been a savage year for the music world, with the deaths of Leonard Cohen, David Bowie and Prince. Boxing Day in India began with the news of British pop singer George Michael’s death, who died of heart failure at his London home on Christmas Day. Social media was soon abuzz with condolence messages, listing their favourite Wham! and Michael songs.

Micromax’s Rahul Sharma was one such fan, who tweeted, “Grown up listening to Faith, Father Figure and Monkey. Freedom 90 still tops my list. RIP #GeorgeMichael. Too soon. Much too soon.”
