Michael Caine to receive Lifetime Achievement Award
In addition to the career honour at the 'European Film Awards' , the 82-year-old is also nominated for the Best Actor award for his role in 'Youth'.

The "Dark Knight Rises" star will be only the third actor in almost 30 years to be feted with the Honorary Award of the European Film Academy.
"We have come to the decision that we are long overdue on paying special tribute to Michael Caine," a joint statement from EFA chairwoman, Agnieskzka Holland, and EFA President, Wim Wenders, reads.
"This recognition to an outstanding film personality is coming from the bottom of our hearts and has only been presented twice in the almost thirty years of the European Film Awards: to our founding member Manoel de Oliveira and to (French actor) Michel Piccoli."
In addition to the career honour, the 82-year-old is also nominated for the Best Actor award for his role in Youth.
