#MeToo: Alok Nath files defamation case against writer-producer

The development comes a week after a #MeToo story was posted on Facebook accusing Nath of rape.

Actor Alok Nath recently filed a defamation case against a writer-producer over her rape claims. The development came a week after she posted her #MeToo story on Facebook accusing the actor.

Initially, Nath neither declined not admitted to the allegations by saying that the rape may have taken place but he was not the one who did it.

Following the writer, actress Sandhya Mridul, too, shared her experience with the 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' actor on Twitter.

The MeToo movement in Bollywood was started by actress Tanushree Dutta who accused Nana Patekar of misbehaving with her 10 years ago on the sets of 'Horn Ok Pleasss'.

Actress Kangana Ranaut, too, accused Vikas Bahl of making her feel uncomfortable.

Most recently, director Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment by actress Saloni Chopra.

They received the prize for the discovery of gravitational waves released in the world by violent events in the universe such as the mergers of black holes.
