Men investing more in fragrances than women, says Divine Cosmetics LLP's Varsha Dalal
A good smelling man is definitely a turn on, and Indian men seem to have noticed it, given that they are investing much more in fragrances than women. This comes straight from Varsha Dalal, founder of Divine Cosmetics LLP.

Internationally, says Dalal, women’s perfumes occupy a higher market share as compared to men’s perfumes, but in India, it’s the other way around.

“In India, I’ve seen that men’s perfumes sell way higher than women’s perfumes. I would say the ratio is about 70:30 here,” she says.

“It’s a good thing because it goes to show that Indian men are conscious about their appearance. It’s definitely good news for all the ladies out there,” Dalal says, with a laugh.
