When Delhi-based Manish Vij, CEO of a digital media company, decided to embark on an adventure, he opted for an extreme one. He was part of a seven-day expedition in Iceland, covering 1302 kms in Arctic trucks. The trip’s success secured him a spot in a book of world records.

“We were the first Indian group to do a self-drive road trip on Icelandic Glaciers,” said Vij. They started from Reykjavik on November 22 last year and reached Langjökull, the second highest glacier in Iceland and returned on November 28.

Despite their vehicles getting stuck in the snow and facing hailstorms, Vij says they did not think of quitting, since they were mentally prepared for the worst. Like the saying goes, Life is a highway.
