Describe yourself in 140 characters

I deactivated my Twitter account because... sorry, but whoever can express themselves in 140 characters is not even a human being. They’re a machine. I’m more a Facebook beast; I love sharing copiously with family and friends. And with that I’ve hit 269 characters here!

Which TV character are you?

If you’re looking for American TV characters, I’d say Barney, for his sarcasm. But for my more desi folks, Kroodh Singh (if you remember him from Chandrakanta). I get irritated very easily, but cool down equally quickly.

Which book character would you be?

Adrian Mole. Adrian Mole. Adrian Mole. I wouldn’t BE him. I AM him.

Which TV character do you want to date?

Honestly, I’d rather date a real person.

Wit and wanderlust. PS: Have we given up on Article 377?

Your favourite city in the world?

So many! But Barcelona is a recent favourite.

What did you do with your first salary?

I don’t remember. I was in Delhi. Most probably drank it down to keep away the god-awful winter.

Who would you like to be with on a crowded island?

Crowded island? Sounds like Bombay. Wouldn’t there be enough people already? I’d probably ask some to take a swim and help de-clutter.

A movie you could watch every day?

Every year. Christmas time. Love Actually. Super sappy yes, but whatever.

Football or cricket?

Football. Can’t keep up with the time differences mostly but definitely every four years.

Your ideal first date.

Zero prep. Just turn up and have a good time!

What is your before-bed ritual?

I thought this was going up on a newspaper!

A fad you don’t understand?

Blaring music in restaurants. People dancing in their seats. Either get yourself to a dance floor, or have the brains to make conversation!
