Meet Hennessy, the flying feline: Cat jumps off 5th floor of burning building, and walks away
The video was on posted on Twitter by the Chicago Fire department.

The feline’s daring escape was captured in a video by the Chicago Fire department, and shared on their official Twitter handle.
In the video, that has since gone viral, a black cat jumps out of the smoke from the fifth floor of a burning home in Chicago, lands on a patch of grass, and runs away without as much as a scratch.
"Nine lives for a cat that jumped from fire at 65th and Lowe. Cat hit grass bounced and walked away!," Chicago Fire Media tweeted as they shared the video.

— Chicago Fire Media (@CFDMedia) 1620937647000While the identity of the cat was not known at the time of posting the video, Chicago Fire department did follow up with more details a few hours later, saying that the house cat was named Hennessy, and had not yet retuned home.
"Cat update. Hennessy the flying cat has not returned home yet. Neighbors near 65th and Lowe are out looking for the now famous feline. His owner says he is a house cat that did not go out. We will update if he is located.(Langford)," the tweet read.
