‘Mathu Vadalara 2’ OTT debut date announced: Where can you watch Telugu crime comedy

‘Mathu Vadalara 2’ emerged as one of the unexpected hits this year. The crime comedy, which enjoyed a successful box-office run, is now gearing up for its OTT debut! According to a 123 Telugu.com report, the movie has been acquired by streaming giant Netflix for a substantial sum and will be available for streaming from October 11.

Initial reports suggest that the film has enjoyed a solid start, with early estimates from trade analyst Sacnilk indicating it earned approximately Rs 2.15 crore on its first day in India. Helmed by Ritesh Rana, ‘Mathu Vadalara 2’ is the sequel to the 2019 comedy-thriller ‘Mathu Vadalara’. The film stars Sri Simha Koduri, Satya, and Vennela Kishore reprising their roles from the original movie, along with Faria Abdullah and Sunil joining the cast.


Produced by Clap Entertainment and Mythri Movie Makers, with music composed by Kaala Bhairava, Mathu Vadalara 2 was released on September 13. This sequel continues the story of two special agents who become embroiled in a murder investigation. Their adventure takes an unexpected turn when they become part of a specialized unit called the HE Team (High Emergency Team), led by Rohini Molleti.
