It was a party to celebrate a new chapter in Maserati's presence in India, that made a comeback in a dealer format in three cities. Yet, Bojan Jankulovski, Head of Operations in India, says that the company is already late in its entry here. "We should have been here much earlier. We took time to find the right partners through a rigorous process," says Jankulovski.

Fiat Chrysler Automobile's luxury car began its first dealership in India in Delhi in September 2015, in Bengaluru in November and in Mumbai earlier this month. Jankulovski says that the company looks at Bengaluru as a hidden jewel, in terms of business, but wants to maintain its exclusivity. "So we are really looking at two digit numbers in terms of sales," says Jankulovski.
