Mary Kom thrilled to meet Rajinikanth, wife Latha at their Chennai home

The five-time world champion was in Chennai to attend an event held by Latha Rajinikanth.

CHENNAI: India's woman boxing icon Mary Kom called on top actor Rajinikanth at his residence here Friday.

Kom, a five time world champion and Olympic bronze medal winner tweeted:



Kom, a recipient of Padma Bhusan and a Rajya Sabha MP, posted pictures with the actor in a boxing pose on her Twitter handle.

She was here to participate in an event held by Latha Rajinikanth, sources said.

She was Thursday named brand ambassador of the upcoming International Boxing Association's (AIBA) women's world boxing championships, to be held between November 15-24 at Delhi.
