Manu Bhaker's classy response to haters after fashion ramp-walk: Do 'in your own style'

Manu Bhaker has had enough of being trolled. The ace shooter was brutally trolled after she shared a video of her Lakme Fashion Week on her Instagram handle. Dropping the video, she captions it, “Locked, Loaded and Runway- ready with M&S Bringing in the #BigAutumnEnergy!” While the Olympic shooter was seen stealing the show on the ramp with confidence, looking like a million bucks in a form-fitting black leather dress, several detractors flooded the comment section and tried to take a potshot at her.

One Instagram user wrote, “Manu Bhaker… no, Manu Bekar!” Another observed, “Kuch jyada drama ho gaya iska!” (She is being too dramatic!).

However, some comments were encouraging. “An all-rounder. She is just beyond perfect in everything she does !!! You look stunning Manu !” wrote one fan. Another commented, “She carried herself very well!” The video crossed 300K likes on the image and video-sharing app.

Manu Schools Trolls

Bhaker, who is no stranger to getting trolled, decided to kill her haters with kindness. Responding to a particular vitriolic comment, she advised them to focus on their own careers and strive to make their family proud instead of wasting it on hating celebrities. “Wow, thank you guys for some good words. Also, quite some haters I see. I just wanted to say, don’t limit yourself to anything, make your life big, your career shiny and your parents proud. Haters will hate, lovers will love, you do you. Have your morale high and make your own way, in your own style. There’s no shortcut to things, but why do easy things when good gives you the strength to do difficult ones? Cheers,” read her comment.

Manu Bhaker, who made history by securing two bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, recently shared a video of herself confidently walking on stage. The post, captioned "Locked, Loaded, and Runway-ready with M&S Bringing in the BigAutumnEnergy!" reflected her vibrant energy. The 22-year-old shooter became the first Indian woman to win multiple medals in a single Olympic edition, thanks to her stellar performance in Paris. Manu earned India’s first medal by clinching bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event, and later added another bronze in the 10m mixed team air pistol event alongside Sarabjit Singh.
