Manpreet Singh's secret to stay calm after Commonwealth Games 2018: Gaming console

The hockey player plays another game, only this one is not on the field.

What does this athlete, who has a big tournament coming up, do to cool off? He plays another game; only this one is not on the field.

Indian hockey team skipper Manpreet Singh, who led the team to a gold medal in the Asia Cup last year says that immersing himself in the virtual world of gaming helps him relax and take some time off “especially after a tough match”.

The 25-year-old is now gearing up for the Commonwealth Games in Australia and has made sure to pack his gaming gear.

“I always carry my gaming console with me when I travel so I can play when on tour. Many times the entire team comes together to play some Fifa. It’s a lot of fun,” he said. Clearly, a team that plays together, wins together.
