Mandira Bedi remembers husband Raj Kaushal with pictures from a happy dinner, and a broken heart

The family held a prayer meet for the film-maker at home.

The sudden demise of adman and film-maker Raj Kaushal last week left his family, friends and industry colleagues in shock. The
'Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi' director passed away following a heart attack.

TV presenter and actress Mandira Bedi, on Monday, took to Instagram to share a carousel of pictures with her husband. The 49-year-old posted a broken heart emoji along with the pictures of the couple at dinner.



The actress, who was married to Kaushal for 22 years, also posted a picture on Twitter with her late husband.

"#RIP my Raji," she tweeted along with a broken heart emoji.

Bedi had removed her profile picture from Instagram, leaving it black as a mark of mourning.

The family had held a prayer meet for the film-maker on the weekend. Actress Mouni Roy, who starred in Ekta Kapoor's 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' with Bedi, took to Instagram to share a picture from the prayer meet that showed a light box kept in front of Kaushal's picture with the message, "We all miss you".

Posting the picture on the social network, Roy wrote, "We do…. It'll never be the same again.."


Bedi and Kaushal tied the knot in February 1999 and have two children - son Vir and daughter Tara whom they had adopted last year.

Actor Dino Morea, who made his Bollywood debut with Kaushal's 1999 film 'Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi', was among those present at the funeral.

Talking to ETimes, the 45-year-old said that he was supposed to meet Kaushal last week but couldn't because the actor had not been feeling well.

"He was such a great guy and it is sad that such a thing happened, he is so young and he had a heart attack this morning at 4:30. Just makes us wonder, we need to live life and live it every day. This is so sad, I am at a loss for words,” Morea said.
