Manchester U's Nemanja Vidic comforts fan after he breaks down

Call it the cult of Manchester United. The storied football club has fans in distant corners of the world, not the least being India. Nemanja Vidic, United’s Champions League winning captain discovered this during a visit to Mumbai a few days ago.

One fan was so thrilled to meet the 36-year-old Serbian defender in the lobby of a Mumbai hotel that he broke down momentarily.

A touched Vidic enquired if the gentleman was alright, and assured him that he wouldn’t leave till the fan had gotten his time with Vidic. Some things can soften the toughest of marksmen.
