Man of the hour! Rafael Nadal stops match mid-way to help fan look for missing toddler

NEW DELHI: Tennis legend, Rafael Nadal had the world swooning over him, and this time not just for his tennis skills. The player was in the middle of a doubles match where he was partnering Simon Bolas against Carlos Moya and John McEnroe, when he heard some commotion from the crowd - a mother had become separated from her daughter.

The Spaniard instead of continuing with the match, held back his serve so fans could move about the seating bowl and help the lady look for the little girl.

Nadal's reaction resulted in a search for the missing girl, and she was soon reunite with her mother.


The Spaniard was all smiles as the mother was reunited with her little daughter.

The tennis star's 2016 season hasn’t gone the way he might have hoped, but this kind gesture surely won him a million more hearts.
