Mammootty’s ‘Turbo’ OTT release date out. When and where to watch

The torturous wait is finally drawing to an end! Malayalam superstar Mammootty, aka Mamukka’s action comedy ‘Turbo’ will be making a grand debut on the OTT streaming platform very soon!

According to the streaming platform OTT Play, ‘Turbo’ will be premiering on Sony Live in the first week of July.

About ‘Turbo’

Directed by veteran director Vysakh, ‘Turbo’ narrates the story of a hot-headed and blunt, yet well-meaning blue-collared worker, who inadvertently becomes entangled in a political scandal, when he tries to settle scores for the the death of his friend.

The movie is about Aruvipurathu Jose alias Turbo Jose, a humble jeep driver from Idukki, who is forced to become a one-man army against the corrupt system when he sets out to avenge the death of his friend Jerry. Turbo must run a race against time to protect himself, his family, and Jerry’s ex-girlfriend Indulekha from the shenanigans of Vetrivel Shanmugam Sundaram, a power-hungry kingmaker.

The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Bindu Panicker, Kabir Duhan Singh, Niranjana Anoop, Shabareesh Varma, and Anjana Jayaprakash in key roles, enriching the narrative with their exceptional performances. Christo Xavier's music beautifully complements the dynamic storyline crafted by writer-director Midhun Manuel Thomas.

Despite positive reviews, the movie was not a success story at the box office. However, thanks to Mamukka’s impeccable acting and edge-of-the-seat screenplay, this movie is a great watch if you are craving for an action extravaganza this weekend.
