Malayalam actress assault case: Actor Dileep denied bail, to remain in judicial remand till July 25

The Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Angamaly denied the bail plea of actor Dileep today and the court ordered to keep him in judicial remand till July 25. He will be sent to Aluva sub jail and will be there for the next ten days. The actor was arrested in arrested in connection with the actress' abduction and rape happened in February.

At the court the prosecution said that the actor might hinder the ongoing investigation if he is granted bail.

Actor Dileep was arrested on Monday for plotting the attack on the actress. He is alleged to be the master mind behind the conspiracy theory of the abduction and assault of the actress. Dileep was arrested considering the prime accused, Pulser Suni's, statement.

The court had already held a preliminary hearing on the bail plea the other day and posted it for further proceedings on Thursday. It, however, had to postpone the hearing for one more day as the investigation team could not present the investigation report in the court.He was produced in court on Saturday noon after the court extended his custody period on Friday for further investigation.
